INGREDIENTS

  • Pumpkin 250 gms cut into cubes
  • Coconut oil 1 tablespoon
  • One drop Black pepper 10 drops
  • One drop cumin 10 drops
  • One drop ginger 10 drops
  • Curry leaves 1 sprig
  • Grated coconut 2 tablespoons
  • Salt as needed
  • Mustard 1 teaspoon
  • Urad dal 1/2 teaspoon

METHOD

  • In a kadai, heat Coconut oil, temper with mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.
  • Add pumpkin, salt and 1/4 cup of water.
  • Simmer and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  • Once the pumpkin is well cooked, add the above mentioned ginger, black pepper, cumin drops and grated coconut.
  • Give it a quick mix and switch off the flame.
