INGREDIENTS
- Rice (raw) 1 cup
- Powdered jaggery 2 ½ cup
- Ghee 4 tbsp
- Onedrop Cardamom 1 tsp
- Salt 2 pinches
- Cashew nut 25g
- Raisins 1 tbsp
- Water as required
METHOD
- Soak the rice for half an hour
- Take a heavy bottomed pot or vessel, add water
- Let the water boil.
- Now add the soaked rice and cook until it turns soft.
- Let the water go down completely.
- Then add powdered jaggery and salt
- Let the jaggery melt and stir continuously until the aroma arises.
- Now add the Onedrop cardamom drops.
- Finally add the raisins and cashews fried in ghee
- Mix well and serve hot.
